When the recession hit in 2008, a lot of companies went bust but Stuart realised there was a market for Bespoke furniture and recovering quality products.

A service engineer by trade working from a neighbours garage repairing furniture, Stuart eventually moving into a series of smaller workshops and we moved into our current building in 2000 and from here the Ashbourne Upholstery turned into one of the biggest service upholstery companies in the country running 7 vans covering Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicester to mention a few.

Stuart has repaired furniture for the likes of MFI, ELS, Cantors, Sunwin, Co-op, Allied Carpets and many more well know companies.
