Customers are notified by phone within 2 days form receipt of your
posted / faxed/ phoned / e-mailed requests. If after 2-3 attempts
we are unsuccessful in contacting them, we send a postcard, by first
class delivery service. The customer is asked to confirm the appointment
before the call is made. If no such confirmation is received, the
day prior to the visit our office staff try again to contact the
customer by phone. If again unsuccessful the service sheet is taken
on the day as an unarranged call. If time allows the customer is
phoned whilst in the area. If a second attempt is made to contact
the customer with no success the paperwork is returned. You will
be kept informed at all times.
The area within 50 miles of our base
is visited on a weekly basis. The extreme of our service areas are
visited within 7 to 10 working days, unless incoming number of requests
allow for earlier visits.
Our vans go out fully equipped with
everything required to complete on site repairs, unless replacement
panel parts are required. Frame rails, Dacron, 1" foam, springs,
castors etc.are already part of our extensive tool kit. We also
have digital cameras so every inspection has one or more photo's
taken. If requested we are able to use the Internet to send the
report and Digi pix through quickly. Inspection copies and photo's
will then be posted along with the sample (if applicable) at the
end of each week. If requested the reports can be sent via fax the
day after inspection. Each van has an engineer dressed in the company
uniform, along with a mobile phone.
We have all electrical equipment tested
every 6 months. Our compressors are annually inspected and tested.
Full insurance covers both public and employees liability, details
available on request.
The inspection / call out charges
are between £25 - £35 + vat (depending on area), this
includes the first 10 minutes on site. Labour is charged at 20 minute
units, £10 / unit. Call out charges and hourly rates can be
negotiated for high request service customers.
